Mt Cootha

Last week in Australia. The time went really fast. We will try to do some picture of us three during the last days! But here are some picture of Mt cootha, Southbank (Brisbane city center), a Zoo, and the Goldcoast!! Here are the main things you can do when you come to Brisbane!!!

Tomorrow I was supposed to make a 2nd attempt to fly to Sydney. Marsha couldn't come after all, so her mum tried to change the ticket's so David could fly as well. But Virgin Blue Australia would rather refund the tickets than simply change the names. I haven't made even made to the airport but I can tell you I won't give up and try to make a 3rd attempt later in the month.

Today I was at UnderWaterWorld with Reagan and David. Then we went go-karting. It was a great day!

Bienvenue / Welcome to our Strasbourg Exchange Students
Mansfield High is once again hosting students from the École Européenne de Strasbourg. Pictured are David Caboche, Morgane Clement and Marcus Dürr who are being hosted by students of French in Years 10 and 11. Our visitors are experiencing first-hand life at Mansfield High and wearing a uniform for the first time in their school career. Many thanks go to their host families for their hospitality during the two month stay as the Strasbourg students are also given the opportunity to see something of our south-east region. We hope their exchange will leave them with many positive experiences of life Down Under.  
By now Morgane and Marcus have caps as well.

Sunday we went to Mt. Tamborine. We went to a park, but there weren't any animals. Then we went to a mountaintop a saw paragliders take off.

MAP

Tomorrow, as every Wednesday, we have MAP. I don't know what the initials stand for but I can explain more or less what it is. It's an activity that is organised by the school and that takes place every Wednesday after lunch. It's like an activity where you have an enormous choice: music, cooking, rifle shooting, sport... For some activities you have to pay for the material or your parents have to drive you there. Morgane chose scrap booking and David and I chose sport.

Well, I'm NOT flying to Sidney today because our 9.30 flight had engineering problems, so our flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. Then this flight didn't come as well. So we spent 3.5 hours at the airport doing nothing. Thanks very much Virgin blue.

I'm flying to Sidney tomorrow!! I'll stay there for two days and will be sleeping in a hotel in Darling Harbour!!

Australian winter is not always at 15 :( ... this morning was colder, 7 degrees with a skirt, a shirt and a little jumper.... freezing! I start recognize people who say me "hello" in the morning and even remember their names! :P I still have fun with Anisha!!!

Aujourd'hui notre gentille prof de francais nous a emmene devant l'assembler pour nous presenter a l'ecole! Ce n'etait pas horrible mais j'aurai aime ne pas y aller du tout!!!!!!! Sinon une autre prof nous a pris en photo pour le journal de l'ecole - avec nos beaux uniformes! Ne vous inquietez pas, nous allons aussi faire une photo pour vous ;)

Aujourdhui premier jour d'ecole! Cette ecole est immense, il y a des gens partout! Ils sont tous en uniforme c'est marrant!!!! :P J'ai decide de prendre sport, art, electronique, ict, tourisme en plus des trois matiere obligatoire science, maths et anglais!!!! Sinon je m'amuse bien! Bonne vacances!

Demain, premier jour de high school. Heureusement, le magasin pour acheter l'uniforme est ferme le lundi!

Salut tout le monde! Aujourd'hui on est aller avec Marcus et nos corespondantes a un super parc d'atractions: Dreamworld. C'etait genial! Tu as rater quelque chose David!!!!

Voila voila! On est arrive et je suis bien installee. J'ai bien dormi et je m'amuse bien!!!! :D

Voila, on est bien arrives a Brisbane. Morgane et David sont passes par la quarantaine pour des raisons inconnues. Les rues sont deux fois plus larges ici, et Brisbane est enorme.
